Class News

 

The Class of 2007 celebrated their 10th Reunion on November 24, 2017. The classmates enjoyed a fun-filled evening at the Federal Tap House, 234 N 2nd St, Harrisburg, PA 17101. Andrea Fields, Tammy Brill, and Antoine Jones hosted the reunion festivities. 

The Class of 1999 celebrated its 20th Reunion on Saturday, December 1, 2019.  Corey Fairall Quigg and Stephanie DeFlorentis were Co-Chairs and Organizers.

The Class of 1979 celebrated their 40th Reunion from Friday, June 28 2019 to Sunday, June 30 2019.  The weekend began with classmates participating in the 6th Susquehanna Invitation charity golf tournament at Colonial Golf and Tennis on June 28.  Tim DeFoor coordinated the golf event for the class.  On Friday evening an informal get together was held at Spring Gate Wineries.  On Saturday the class cruised on the Pride of the Susquehanna River Boat.  The Reunion cruise included a Silent Auction, Food, Dancing, Games, and Class Photo.  The weekend closed with a Sunday Breakfast at Peachtree Restaurant and Lounge.  Reunion committee members were Paula Margolis Rosen, Sheri Cohle, Suzy Rohland Williams, Judy Durrell, Deb Nicholas Bowser, and Dorian Lawrence Miller. 

The Class of 1978 celebrated their 40th Reunion during weekend-long events from Friday July 20, 2018 through Sunday July 22, 2018. A Meet-n-Greet at The Millworks on Friday evening July 20, followed by the 11th Annual Summer Bash on Saturday, July 21 at the Postal Grounds from 6PM, then Sunday Breakfast at the Peachtree. Organized by Susan Gorodn, Brian Morgan, and Dwayne DeFoor with the Summer Bash Committee. Music by the Merzanis Sisters with Jay Bechtel at 6PM and Bunchafunk at 8PM.

The Class of 1974 celebrated their 45th Reunion from July, 19 2019 through July, 21 2019.  A Friday pre-reunion mixer and a Sunday brunch was built around the alumni association’s Summer Bash #12 at the Harrisburg Postal Picnic Grounds on Saturday, July 20.  The Merzanis Sisters and Bunchafunk with the Summer Bash Horns provided the musical entertainment during their Reunion and the Summer Bash #12.  Rob Sykes coordinated the Reunion.

The Class of 1973 celebrated their 45th Reunion on Friday, August 24, 2018 with an informal gathering at Your Place followed by the Class Reunion on Saturday, August 25 at Duke’s Riverside Bar & Grille, Wormleysburg.

The Class of 1964 celebrated their 55th Reunion over two days during April.  A Pre-Reunion Mixer was held on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Arooga’s (Rt. 22), 7025 Allentown Blvd, Harrisburg 17112.  The Reunion was held the following evening, Saturday, April 27, 2019 at American Legion Post 272 , 505 North Mountain Road (at I-81, Exit 72), Harrisburg, PA 17112.  Committee members were Mike Putt: sfgt38@gmail.com, Jerry Kreider: jerrys2k@comcast.net, Carol Putt: carolputt25@gmail.com, and Dave Funk at davefunk64@gmail.com or (757) 867-8885.

The Class of 1958 celebrated their 60th Reunion during the month of June 2018.  Events included a Social on Friday, June 15, a dinner on the evening of June 16, and a Sunday Brunch.  All reunion events were held at Best Western Premier the Central Hotel & Conference Center, 800 E Park Drive, Harrisburg.
